About the team

The Curriculum Developer will focus on writing and managing state of the art content and delivery of content when/where required.  This role also includes defining new knowledge programs suited for Kinaxis that aligns with the latest industry standards.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that the content for global customers is accurate and delivered on time. We expect you to have excellent program management skills to enhance and formalize emerging Training and enablement programs and leading the launching of innovative ones. 

What you will do

  • Driving research into industry leading content solutions, providing feedback on innovative technologies.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Providing constructive suggestions to improve a situation. Knowing how to remove roadblocks.
  • Creating knowledge assets so our ecosystem can learn from experts, adopt the Maestro solution, and product build expertise.
  • Leading new research against industry leading programs, analyzing implications, and applying best practices to Kinaxis program design, leading work streams to produce program deliverables
  • Managing the posting of content through predefined procedures and repositories
  • Track and report on progress using internal systems.
  • Creating hands on labs and certification questions
  • Some international travel would be required for customer/partner training delivery

Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma or comparable experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of content development experience
  • Present complex information and knowledge clearly and concisely at the right level for the listener
  • Active listening. Make proposals and shape the input from others to reach consensus
  • Membership in a professional organization related to content development, learning theory and training programs. 

What we are looking for

  • Expert knowledge in E-Learning, ILT/SPVC, graphic design, video production, programming, or a related field may be advantageous.
  • Experience leading the formalization of knowledge programs, including the enhancements of existing programs and the launch of new innovative ones
  • Advanced working knowledge of Maestro software is an added advantage.
  • Expert knowledge of databases, data models, algorithms
  • Strong programming knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Machine learning
  • Demonstrated skill in course design for accessibility
  • Knowledge of Bloom’s taxonomy
  • Produce quality work that reflects well upon Kinaxis
