If you qualify and bring all necessary documentation before 12pm, you will be asked to stay for a 3 hour orientation on Wednesday May 20th, 2026

Documents to Bring:  

• Valid New York HHA or PCA Certificate
• 2 forms of Valid ID ( State ID and Social Security Card)
• A completed physical exam form within the last 12months
• A PPD or Quantiferon test within the last 12 months, OR a chest X-ray within the last 10 years
• Measle and Rubella immunity records 
• 2 Professional Reference Letters
• Valid email address for application purposes

If you arrive with the required documentation and meet the necessary qualifications, we may ask you to stay for our 12pm orientation or schedule you for the next date.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll support clients living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and/or other cognitive impairments with personalized, 1:1 care in the safety of their homes:

• Cognitive & Behavioral Support: Providing gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Personal Care: Assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience
• Home Safety & Housekeeping: Helping maintain a calm, familiar, and organized environment with basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: Offering conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs

Qualifications

At TheKey, we pride ourselves on hiring compassionate caregivers who meet the following eligibility requirements: 

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid NY Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a reliable transporation
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
