About the role:

As part of our Corporate Development team, you will take on a dual role: supporting the CEO Office operations while contributing to key strategic initiatives across the company. Working closely with the strategy team, you will ensure the smooth execution of key executive formats (e.g., C-Level Board Meetings, Townhalls, Leadership Offsites), coordinate high-level planning routines, and prepare materials that help our leadership team stay aligned and effective.

In parallel, you will support strategic analysis and strategy projects, gaining exposure to how strategic decisions are shaped and executed. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a broader strategy or transformation role in the future.

Your responsibilities:

CEO Office & Leadership Coordination (approx. 40%)

  • Support the planning and coordination of recurring executive meetings (e.g., Board Meetings, Leadership Offsites, Townhalls).

  • Contribute to internal communication efforts by helping prepare key updates and messaging across leadership formats.

  • Track action items and follow-ups to ensure smooth execution of decisions and next steps.

Strategy & Corporate Development (approx. 60%)

  • Contribute to cross-functional strategic and improvement projects, such as market analyses, go-to-market strategies or process optimization.

  • Support the preparation of strategy sessions and steering committee materials.

  • Analyze and summarize information on ongoing initiatives, leadership priorities, and market trends to maintain alignment and transparency.

  • Conduct ad-hoc research and analyses to support C-level and management decision-making.

The ratio is not fixed, and we therefore look for someone who is open to both project work and operational tasks.

Your talents and experience:

  • We’re looking for a curious, driven, and detail-oriented mind who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field

  • Interest or first experience in product management, product development, and data-driven work is a plus, combined with a strong curiosity for how data informs business decisions

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, paired with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with collaboration tools is a plus

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in diverse teams, with a positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement.

What we offer:

  • Valuable insights into strategic project management at the executive level

  • A high-performing yet supportive team culture that encourages learning and growth

  • Dynamic and meaningful work in a fast-paced data and technology environment

  • Opportunities to take ownership and contribute to our company’s growth

Your team:

We are a dynamic team driving Statista’s strategic and operational projects. Our mission is to support Statista on its growth path and enable the company to continuously evolve. We are a team of five professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise:
Maja, Filip, Amelie, Thomas, Annika
