Responsibilities

The Safety Technician in Swiftwater, PA supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

  • Oversee specific aspects of a commercial construction as assigned 
  • Conduct daily tool box talks
  • Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year direct safety experience required
  • OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certification required 
  • Basic understanding of construction safety standards
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
