Spicerhaart, the largest Independent Estate Agent in the UK, has an exciting opening for an Assembly &  Fulfilment Operative at our unique in-house print facility at Severalls Business Park, Colchester.

• Basic salary of £15,912 per annum
• Part time working pattern (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 08.30 – 17.00)

What is the purpose of the Assembly & Fulfilment Operative?

To ensure orders are assembled, processed, and shipped, accurately, and on time working in a fast-paced daily shipping environment.

This involves assembling multiple documents into file folders and boxes, picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, as well as maintaining accurate inventory and records.

Responsibilities may also include using IT systems, for labelling and shipping & ensuring compliance with company procedures.

What does a normal day look like?

• Order Fulfilment
• Picking and packing items according to customer orders. 
• Dispatch Preparation 
• Assembling and preparing orders for shipment, including creating labels and ensuring proper documentation
• Inventory Management
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock takes. 
• Manual Handling
• Spending extended periods of time on your feet, manually handling parcels or using onsite equipment as needed. 
• Operating Systems
• Using IT systems for order processing, labelling, and tracking shipments. 
• Quality Control
• Ensuring all items are in good condition and packed securely. 
• Adhering to Procedures
• Following company guidelines and safety protocols. 

What do you need to succeed as an Assembly & Fulfilment Operative?

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in a fast-paced assembly line working environment.
• Strong organizational skills – The ability to effectively manage your workload is essential.
• The ability to prioritise tasks when under pressure working to meet shipping timescales.
• Excellent team working skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:
