Distribution Technician

Overview

You may never meet the patients who receive treatment at Legacy, but you play a vital role in ensuring they receive the best possible care. Your keen organizational skills guarantee that the right tools and parts are ready for any situation—whether routine or a lifesaving emergency. Your accuracy in inventory management, ordering, and restocking end-user departments directly supports our ongoing mission of making life better for others.

Responsibilities

• Execute facility-wide distribution of supplies and equipment.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and restocking for end-user departments.

• Handle distribution, shipping, and receiving of supplies and equipment.

• Maintain inventory levels and data integrity for par locations.

• Ensure customer satisfaction to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Warehouse, inventory, and medical supply experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer applications in a network setting.

Skills:

• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations
• Must be able to perform simple computer tasks.
• Must possess good organizational skills.
• Ability to speak, read and write English effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a professional and effective manner.
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
• Able to work independently.
