Associate Attorney – Mortgage Foreclosure (Uncontested)
About the Opportunity
Kelley Kronenberg is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Uncontested team within our Florida Mortgage Foreclosure department. This is a high-volume default practice representing national lenders, servicers, and investors throughout Florida's judicial foreclosure process. We are looking for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, portfolio-driven environment, has a strong command of Florida's uncontested foreclosure workflow, and understands the client reporting and expectations that come with servicer-driven work.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume portfolio of uncontested residential foreclosure files from referral through certificate of title and post-sale resolution
- Draft and review complaints, motions for default, motions for summary judgment, final judgment packages, and related pleadings
- Prosecute uncontested matters through Florida's judicial foreclosure process, including managed mediation referrals where applicable
- Appear at uncontested hearings, case management conferences, summary judgment hearings, and foreclosure sales
- Review loan files, payment histories, assignments, and title work to confirm standing and conditions precedent
- Communicate regularly with servicer clients through Black Knight/LPS, Tempo, and other client portals, meeting milestones and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to keep files moving efficiently and accurately
Required Education & Experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of Florida foreclosure experience, with a strong emphasis on uncontested/default work
- Familiarity with LPS/Black Knight, Tempo, and other servicing and case management platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of files while meeting client deadlines and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- 1. Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills.

as attend motion hearings, trials and final judgmenthearings.
10. Ability to handle cases from inception of uncontested litigation issues through Summary Judgment with ongoing
training from associates to same—this includes review of transfer file dockets, pleadings and all
issues therein, including ameliorative efforts in order to strengthen clients’ cases going forward.
