Immanuel Communities is seeking a Wellness Specialist to work at Immanuel Pathways PACE® 7700 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. 

This position is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with attending planned events as needed. 

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to oversee exercise and wellness activities in an Immanuel Pathways Center to ensure participants, employees and members have successful experiences that enhance their physical, spiritual and intellectual lives. The responsibilities of this job include developing, planning, scheduling, overseeing and leading wellness activities and programs.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science is required.

Two (2) years of wellness program coordination experience or related experience is required.

Group and/or health fitness instructor preferred.

CPR certification required or obtained withing the first 30 days of hire

First Aid education required or completed within the first 30 days of hire.
