Group 1 Nissan Southwest Houston, part of the rapidly growing Group 1 Automotive family, is seeking an experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Technician ready to take their career to the next level!We proudly represent the Nissan brand and are committed to excellence—not only in the quality of vehicles we service, but in the talent we bring onto our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Nissan/Infiniti certifications or 2+ ASEs required, or 3+ years of Nissan/Infiniti dealership experience if no certifications
• Flat-rate (flag) dealership experience required
• Strong Diagnostic and Repair Skills
• Proven Track Record of Performance and Reliability
• Commitment to Delivering a Top-Tier Customer Experience
• Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
