Responsibilities

The Position: Reporting to the SVP of Core Autonomy, we are looking for a Principal Consultant with expertise in autonomous technology development and deployment to join us as we embark on an exciting growth journey.

In this role you will play an integral role in building Hexagon Autonomous Solutions as a trusted partner working directly with clients on their future developments highlighting opportunities were we can help customers navigate complex environments bridging measurement and automation technology to overcome challenges in positioning, perception and navigation.

This position will be responsible for customer identification and market awareness on key studies /future developments, building key relationship with customers to present profitable, and automation advancement solutions to their operations. It will require you to lead and present technical workshops, define and design end to end automation solutions for a variety of customer environments within the mining industry as you colloborate on technology solutions for operational efficiencies.

About you

We are looking for a Solutions Architect/Principal Consultant/Technical Program Manager who brings a depth of technical expertise in automation development and adoption within the mining industry, seeking an opportunity where they can play a crucial role in the sectors advancement of autonomy applications to meet real world demands in both production and safety.   Your passion for the future of Technology and Mining, alongside your customer relationship management will allow for a growth and success across varied innovative developments

In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes;

•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in solution architecture, consulting, and technical sales (preferably in mining, automation, or industrial technology).
• Strong understanding of mining operations, automation technologies, and digital transformation.
• Ability to build business cases and communicate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder projects
• Proven success in collaborating in a customer centric, solution focused engagement
• Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
