We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Workday Core HCM and Absence to support system configuration, data integrity, testing cycles, and process optimization for our global People Technology ecosystem. This role serves as a functional system owner for key Workday modules and partners closely with HR and cross-functional teams to enhance workforce data management, streamline employee lifecycle processes, and ensure reliable, scalable system design.

You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence while contributing to strategic system improvements and innovations that elevate the employee experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

Workday Functional Ownership

· Administer and maintain Core HCM configuration including supervisory organizations, positions, job profiles, compensation profiles, and business process frameworks.

· Manage end-to-end configuration and support for Absence including time-off plans, leave policies, accruals, eligibility rules, and workflows.

· Serve as a point of contact for HR partners regarding system design, capabilities, and issue resolution.

· Troubleshoot complex issues impacting data, business processes, or user experience.

Configuration, Enhancements & Optimization

· Design, build, and test configuration changes across Core HCM and Absence in alignment with business requirements.

· Evaluate existing system setup and recommend improvements that drive automation, scalability, and better user experience.

· Support Workday bi-annual release updates, perform testing, and implement approved changes.

· Support or lead small-to-medium HRIS initiatives, enhancements, and continuous improvement projects.

Data Integrity, Reporting & Analytics

· Perform regular audits of workforce and absence data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

· Support HR and business partners with reporting needs and help interpret data for insights and decision-making.

· Lead data validation efforts during system updates, reorganizations, integrations, or major HR changes.

· Uphold data governance, security standards, and global compliance practices.

Testing, Documentation & Governance

· Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Workday updates, enhancements, and new features.

· Maintain documentation of configuration, business processes, data dictionaries, and system workflows.

· Adhere to structured change control and governance processes to ensure system stability and audit readiness.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

· Partner with HR Operations on data loads, and issue resolution, ensuring accuracy and timely support.

· Provide training, troubleshooting, and user guidance to HR teams globally.

· Collaborate with technical HRIS resources on changes that impact integrations, security, and downstream systems.

· Understand India HR processes to ensure local compliance and alignment with global HR programs.

 

Qualifications

Required

· 3–6+ years of HRIS experience with hands-on Workday administration.

· Strong knowledge of Core HCM structures and employee lifecycle transactions.

· Experience configuring and supporting Absence / Leave frameworks.

· Strong analytical, data validation, and troubleshooting skills.

· Proven experience supporting configuration, testing cycles, and system maintenance.

· High attention to detail, with strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred

· Experience supporting Workday implementations, tenant redesigns, or HR transformation projects.

· Familiarity with Workday security, reporting, and data governance best practices.

· Experience working with global HR teams and understanding of India HR operations.
