The Global SharePoint & Power Platform Automation Specialist is a full‑time technical and functional role responsible for enhancing, supporting, and governing Kemin’s SharePoint Online environment and driving automation through the Power Platform and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
This position provides Tier 3 support, develops modern digital solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate, manages SharePoint architecture and permissions, and leads the modernization of business processes previously dependent on legacy tools such as Nintex. The role will work closely with business users and global IT teams to resolve issues, deliver projects, develop training resources, and implement automation-focused improvements to support global business operations.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert (Tier 3) for SharePoint Online.
- Manage and support:
- Site collections, subsites, libraries, lists
- Permissions, groups, and access reviews
- Content types, managed metadata, and navigation
- Troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
- Maintain governance standards, ensuring secure and compliant configuration.
- Support migration from legacy forms/workflows (e.g., Nintex) to modern alternatives.
- Design, develop, and support Power Apps solutions for business processes.
- Build and maintain Power Automate flows, including cloud flows and tight integration with SharePoint.
- Modernize manual processes using automation patterns, connectors, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in translating business requirements into scalable app and flow designs.
- Maintain solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
- Build and support RPA automations using Power Automate Desktop.
- Participate in automation lifecycle: requirements, process mapping, development, testing, deployment.
- Integrate RPA solutions with SharePoint, desktop applications, legacy systems, and web platforms.
- Ensure RPA solutions follow enterprise security, governance, and operational standards.
- Act as an advanced-level support resource for SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate issues.
- Track and manage tickets via the IT help desk, reassigning as appropriate.
- Develop training materials, user guides, SOPs, and conduct workshops as needed.
- Maintain documentation for automations, workflows, and solution architectures.
- Enforce governance policies on SharePoint structure, permissions, and data classification.
- Conduct periodic audits on:
- SharePoint permissions
- Power Platform environment usage
- RPA process compliance
- Ensure solutions comply with Kemin IT policies, security controls, and best practices.
- Support IT in evaluating and approving new connectors, automation capabilities, and platform features.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or modernize business processes.
- Research and test new features within SharePoint, Power Platform, and RPA tools.
- Engage with global stakeholders to understand requirements and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in:
- SharePoint Online administration
- Power Apps (canvas apps, model-driven optional)
- Power Automate (cloud + desktop / RPA)
- Prior experience in supporting projects and handling requests from global users or managing multi-region deployments within a production environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of other Microsoft 365 features like Purview and tenant governance.
