Overview

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation group in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to join an active practice where you will be supporting a sophisticated and large body of litigation work. As an AmLaw100 firm, we are excited to bring on an experienced lateral associate who knows how to bring our client's objectives and goals to fruition.

A Day in the Life

You will be joining a highly skilled team of attorneys who have substantial courtroom experience at the state and federal levels. The Greenville Litigation Team represents clients in trying complex, high-value cases to verdict across a variety of practice areas including professional malpractice, commercial litigation, product liability, and patent infringement. From the Greenville office itself, visitors can view a bustling Upstate community and witness the city’s transition from textile hub to technology center. People and conversations on Greenville’s Main Street reflect multiple cultures and languages as international manufacturers now call Greenville home.

We Know You

You are a junior to mid-level associate with meaningful experience in general commercial litigation, product liability, and other complex litigation matters. You’re prepared to draft and argue discovery and other motions, take and defend depositions, manage document productions, and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience gained at a law firm
  • Admitted, and in go standing, to the South Carolina Bar
