Job Description

Material Handler - Shuttle Driver

Vancouver, WA

 

Compensation Includes

  • Starting pay rate $21.25 - $24.90/hour 
  • In addition to an hourly pay rate, a $1.00 per hour shift differential is applied to all hours worked between 3:00pm and 6:59am the following day.

Available Shifts

  • 1 position on Days (B-Shift) = Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • 1 position on Nights (C-Shift = Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • 1 position on Nights (D-Shift) = Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00am to 7:00pm

Overview & Responsibilities

Our Material Handlers are versatile and perform functions like Forklift Driver, Stock Pull, Grab Driver, Loader, etc. There are two positions available, which will be particularly focused on Loader duties. The successful candidates will have at least 1 year of experience loading trailers according to proper weight and configuration; be comfortable operating dock equipment (dock leveler, Dock-Lok, glad hand locks, etc.); and be able to read, understand, and complete regulated documentation.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of Logistics experience, warehouse operations, and forklift driving
  • Highly effective written and communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve situations quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient computer skills: MS Office, Word, and Excel are required
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with periods of walking, sitting, and/or lifting, a maximum of 50 pounds, infrequently, as needed
