Responsibilities

1. As a Sales Engineer within Morgan Advanced Materials you will be required to initiate, facilitate and drive various business development and sales strategies whilst working in collaboration with clients operations.

2. Form new relationships that will allow for sales targets to be achieved will involve generating and managing sales leads across various applications and industries.

3. Provide support to existing clients via the engineered product range that has a global footprint for manufacturing and technical support.

4. Assume responsibility for your regions / area’s sales targets and budget requirements.

5. Identify approach, quantify, qualify and approach prospective clients within your area.

6. Re-qualify existing customers in terms of their total spend, competitor activity, personnel movements and activities.

7. Identify and gain opportunities for trials of products on existing customers or prospective client’s equipment.

8. Act as the first point of contact for all customers requesting support other than order placement and quotation requests for existing products.

9. Provide onsite investigation and initial technical response to all product complaints [where practical & possible]

10. Timely submission of accurate regional sales data and client activity report weekly, for inclusion in the monthly Regional Executive Sales Summary Report.
