What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Graphics Operator for our Football Factory in Ada, Ohio.  The Graphics Operator will be responsible for the creation and/or production of decals and heat transfers to support the production needs and sales efforts of the Company. This position works closely with the Sales Team and Factory personnel to achieve department goals.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:   

  • Work with Sales, Production, and Customer Service to gather information for layouts and concepts all the way through production phases.
  • Create vector art based on customer specifications in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Colorize and resize art.
  • Create electronic mockup file to be submitted to customer for approval.
  • Cross train and assist in other functions as needed. Example: Printing, Heat Press and Decal Prep.
  • Release production orders daily with approved artwork to the production team.
  • Ensure proper training is provided to Union assistance in all areas.
  • Learn and execute multiple application techniques required within the Custom Manufacturing area when using jigs, fixtures, computers, presses and lasers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

This role requires an Associate's Degree and/or a Degree in Graphic Design or related field with 3 - 5 years experience.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and associated design software. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Solid attention to detail with strong organization and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated team player that takes initiative to analyze and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with demands changing daily.
  • Must work overtime as needed.
  • Must have good attendance record (less than 5 occurrences if current employee)
