University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Float PET/NUC Med Technologist. Our PET/Nuc Med Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, such as PET and CT scanners, to create images of the body's internal functions and structures.

 

Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining equipment and radiation safety protocols. 

 

This position is based in our Neptune, NJ Imaging Office and will also covers shifts in our offices located in Tinton Falls and Freehold, NJ.

 

Monday - Friday (shift times will vary based on need)

 

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • NJDEP State License and CPR Certification 
  • ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality 
  • A minimum of two years experience
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification

Pay Range:

From $58/hr

 

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
