Responsibilities
Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases and defects of the airway and pleural space in the Bronchoscopy/Interventional Pulmonology Lab. Specialize in the advanced care of patients undergoing interventional bronchoscopy and pleural procedures. Support the development of other staff and formal learners.Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Respiratory Care Preferred
- Associate's Degree of Science in Respiratory Care Required
Work Experience
- 5 years of progressive work experience in respiratory care Required
Licenses and Certifications
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT Upon Hire Required and
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners as a Respiratory Care Professional Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
