Responsibilities
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and nursing. Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of nursing expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Two (2) years of Operating Room nursing experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certification required. Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN). Demonstrated clinical competency.
