WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship

  • Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field

  • Required coursework (at least 1-2): algorithms, data structures, and operating systems, programming, software testing

  • Recommended coursework: cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems

  • Recommended programming skills in at least one of the following: Java, Golang, Typescript or Python

  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

  • Strong problem solving and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Experience with working as a part of a team

  • Dedication and passion for technology

  • Interested in quality, developer experience & productivity or platform engineering

  • Duration: 3 months minimum (opportunity for 6 months as well)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:

  • How to build enterprise-grade, reliable, and trustworthy software/services

  • Develop new 3rd party integrations that contribute to expanding the functionality of the Snowflake application and deliver an awesome, consistent user experience.

  • Collaborate with product management, and other software engineers to deliver new customer-facing features.

  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud in particular.
