About this role

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

At Snowflake, our People team is the backbone of an extraordinary employee experience. As a People Systems Analyst on the Workday team, you'll help design, build, and optimize the systems that power our global workforce — ensuring our people data and processes scale as fast as Snowflake does.

This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin, CA or Menlo Park, CA offices with 3 days a week in-office attendance required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, gain deep understanding of key initiatives and business needs, conduct analysis & recommend system solutions

  • Provide production support including triaging tickets, troubleshooting system issues, providing end-user support, researching alternative solutions and features, and delivering on enhancement requests

  • Perform configuration and administration of business processes, notifications, set up elements, and completing EIBs across Workday modules

  • Assess new Workday features and conduct regression testing during Workday release cycles

  • Ensure data integrity across Workday and downstream systems; adhere to data governance, compliance, and security policies

  • Document processes and procedures, assist with end-user training and creation of quick reference guides

  • Promote and utilize best practices, holistic design, and thorough testing to ensure quality work and system stability

  • Leverage AI tools to improve and operationalize tasks & processes

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 5+ years of demonstrable hands-on Workday development, configuration, implementation, and support experience on a global scale

  • Strong experience in at least two Workday modules such as HCM Core, Compensation, Learning, Absence, and Time Tracking

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday foundational concepts, business processes, EIBs, security, reporting, calculated fields, touchpoints, and release cycles

  • Solid understanding of HR processes and programs, employee life cycle, and HR data flows

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity and experience experimenting with and building solutions using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or Workday Agents

  • Experience with data governance, handling sensitive data, and SOX compliance

  • Excellent project management and verbal & written communication skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and focus on quality

  • Quick learner of new technologies; “outside-the-box” thinker who enjoys finding creative and scalable solutions to business challenges

  • Operate with a customer service mindset, can-do attitude, grace under pressure

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
