About this Role

Brink Constructors, Inc.

 

Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, and associated materials and equipment within the high voltage substation electrical industry.

 

Position requires 100% travel anywhere throughout the MidWest

 

Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly role. The pay range is $27.69 -$46.86 / hour

What You'll Do

  • Install and assemble high‑voltage equipment such as transformers, breakers, switches, bus work, and control panels

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans

  • Build grounding systems, conduit runs, cable trays, and structural supports

  • Pull, terminate, and label control wiring and power cables

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required

  • Perform equipment testing, inspections, and quality checks

  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry regulations

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on‑site

  • Document work performed and report progress or issues to leadership

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years previous substation construction or equivalent experience
  • Active, Valid Driver's License
  • Valid CDL A is preferred
  • Line School Certificate or Transcripts preferred

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $27.69/Hr. - USD $46.86/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
