Overview

Parker & Sons is currently seeking a Permit Coordinator to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Permit Coordinators act as the liaison between the company, customer and municipalities to pull and expedite permits for home services installations and build outs.

THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE AND NOT REMOTE

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (w/30min lunch)

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Submit all required permits on behalf of operations
  • Review submittal requests to check that permit documentation is complete
  • Communicate to appropriate teams when documentation needs are not met
  • Design and cut sheets to proper jurisdiction
  • Submit completed packets to appropriate municipality
  • Pay fees as needed and submit expense reports
  • Receive and log redline notices and communicate to the dept what changes are required.
  • Manage alerts from municipal communications
  • Log permit statuses within ST and on the Tracker
  • Store permits & documents within project folders
  • Schedule inspections with municipalities
  • Complete Siteplans

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn our Operational Software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people, including technicians, customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Have attention to detail and ensure accuracy with all tasks and reporting
  • Ability to ‘think on your feet’- have solid analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Must bring a positive mindset to your team and specialty department

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision at times
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
