Overview

Charles Street Dental is seeking a talented Full Time Dental Hygienist RDH to join our collaborative team in Baltimore, Maryland! 

 

Our growing multi-disciplinary dental office is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist who is looking for more than a traditional hygiene position.  We are passionate about oral health and providing high-quality dental care.  Our hygienists are learners and educators at heart, with our team working together to benefit our patient’s overall health.  

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a progressive practice focused on comprehensive patient care, airway health, sleep apnea treatment, and advanced soft tissue management.

 

We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about patient education, preventive care, and helping patients improve both their oral and overall health. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, enthusiastic about learning, and interested in expanding their clinical skills in a collaborative environment.

Full Time Dental Hygienist RDH Schedule

Monday through Thursdays 8:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break

 

Offering Up to a $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing patient's medical and dental history.
  • Proficiency with taking high quality X-rays and able to train to become proficient in high resolution digital imaging.
  • Educating patients about oral health, oral hygiene and oral-systemic connections.
  • Documents area of existing restorations, identifying potential areas of concern and using co-diagnosing to educate.
  • Administers prophylactic, periodontal scaling and delivery of antimicrobial agents.
  • Conducts oral cancer, saliva, caries risk screenings and recommending treatments and therapies.
  • Able to train and become proficient in digital scanning, leading edge diagnostic and periodontal therapies, and technologies.
  • Able to train to become proficient in collaborating with a team of medical and dental providers for the benefit of patient outcomes.
  • Educating patients on Treatment plans, Insurance, and collection of payments.
  • Able to participate with the business team on management and accountability of hygiene schedule.
  • Keeps a positive rapport with patients and team members.

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland Hygienist license required 
  • Current BLS/CPR certifications
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
  • Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred, new grads are welcome to apply!
  • Great communication skills and knowledge of overall dental health for patient education
  • Ability and willingness to learn therapy treatments through training at practice
