General Dentist DDS/DMD Part Time: We’re currently seeking part-time support, with the opportunity to expand into a full-time schedule as patient demand and the relationship evolve.
Location: Dr. Curtis Roy & Associates Dentistry, 3703 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503Schedule: 8a-5p Two days per week, offering flexibility in selecting days from Wednesday through Saturday

Responsibilities
-Diagnose and treat oral health conditions
-Provide comprehensive general dentistry with full autonomy, including the option to perform advanced procedures.
-Deliver exceptional patient care and build strong patient relationships
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
-Lead and collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations
-Maintain accurate records and comply with safety protocols
Qualifications
-DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
-Active Louisiana dental license and DEA
-Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
Practice Description
Dr. Curtis Roy & Associates Dentists here are encouraged to practice dentistry with professional judgment and integrity, supported by an experienced team and well-established systems. The practice offers a broad scope of clinical care, including:
-Comprehensive general and preventive dentistry
-Advanced restorative cases, including crowns, bridges, and complex treatment planning
-Implant dentistry (placement and restoration), implant‑supported dentures, and bone grafting
-Root canal therapy and surgical extractions (based on comfort level)
-Periodontal therapy and full‑mouth rehabilitation cases
-In‑house dental laboratory supports high-quality restorative outcomes, collaboration, and continuity of care.
-Clinical collaboration and mentorship are available without micromanagement.
-Dentists are trusted to work within their comfort level, expand skills over time if desired, and refer cases when appropriate.
