Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and serving sizes
- Set up and organize the serving line for each meal
- Serve food to students and staff in a professional and respectful manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use
- Assist with stocking and storing food deliveries
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including ServSafe guidelines
- Support team operations and assist with additional kitchen duties as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety practices
- Good judgment and a dependable, team-focused attitude
- Ability to stay active, organized, and alert throughout your shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow dress code, including uniform, gloves, and hair restraints
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required
- 0–3 years of cooking or food service experience preferred
- ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license
