Job Overview

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting local sales team with product demonstrations and subject matter expertise.
  • Customer interface for patent filing, translation, IP Research and renewal services, etc.
  • In conjunction with IP Solutions global product strategy, enable capability in Korea for new IP Solutions product lines.
  • Build up the connection between customers and RWS delivery team.
  • Engage customers effectively and work collaboratively with sales function to nurture account plans.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Partner with IP Solutions product function to drive localised requirements for Korea IP market.
  • Develop and implement annual objectives and performance metrics to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Monitor market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure effective execution of daily operations and long-term objectives.
  • Foster a trusting and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and self-development.
  • Maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders, including corporate headquarters and other regional offices.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Korea team and global stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Advocate for the Korea team’s needs, including training and professional development opportunities, to enhance team capabilities.
  • Work with global stakeholders to organize training programs for the Korea team, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a customer focussed senior management role.
  • IP industry experience essential.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to work with sales teams to deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • Commercially orientated.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record in building and developing teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter, working without supervision and able to navigate across internal and external senior stakeholder groups.
