Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $191,650.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

Position can be located in Charleston, SC, Norfolk, VA, or San Diego, CA. 

 

  • Develop curriculum for current, follow-on and future C2 and targeting applications
  • Provide classroom or virtual (MS Teams) instruction to students ranging from beginners to Subject Matter Experts
  • Provide over-the-shoulder instruction to students on various naval platforms and in lab environments
  • Standing or walking for long periods and work on waterfront platforms during all seasons
  • Use MS Office products to create and update training materials (guides, checklists, handouts, presentations)
  • Validate user-level procedures for current and future command and control (C2) applications including TBMCS
  • Review technical manuals, user guides and other documentation
  • Perform basic user-level troubleshooting of C2 applications
  • Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of training materials and equipment
  • 50% travel, comfortable training customers in small spaces aboard Navy ships

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as Systems Administrator or Operator testing, configuring and using C2 applications, (TBMCS, JADOCS, GCCS-M, DCGS-N, etc.)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Joint Targeting, Air Tasking Order cycle, Airspace Control Measures/Orders, etc.
  • 3 to 5 years’ operator/user experience in Operations Centers:
    • USAF Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) or Control and Reporting Center (CRC)
    • USN Tactical Air Control Center (TACC)
    • USMC Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) / Tactical Air Operations Center (TAOC)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as onsite or positional trainer or classroom instructor
  • 1 year of experience with virtual instruction/remote learning
  • 1 year of curriculum development experience using:
    • USMC Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model, or
    • USN Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (P+ADDIE) model, or
    • USAF Plan, Analyze, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) model
  • Active passport 

Desired Skills

  • 5 to 8 years of experience as onsite or positional trainer or classroom instructor

  • 5 to 8 years of operator/user experience in Operations Centers

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Travel Requirements

  • 50% travel, comfortable training customers in small spaces aboard Navy ships
