Electrical Engineer

Description

• Assists in the design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems in compliance with contract specifications and industry standards. 
• Supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation. 
• Interprets technical drawings, schematics, and other documentation to facilitate precise system installations and modifications. 
• Collaborates with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a Electrical Engineering role 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering discipline, Computer Science or IT discipline, or Technical discipline
• Demonstrated ability to assist in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems by following established engineering principles and contract guidelines. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, technical drawings, and related documentation to ensure accuracy in implementation. 
• Skilled in using basic diagnostic instruments and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a support environment. 
• Possess an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance 

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with electrical design and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE) to enhance system analysis and validation. 
• Exposure to modern control systems and automation technologies for process improvement and troubleshooting efficiency. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements. 
• Effective communication skills to support seamless collaboration with engineering teams and end-users.

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
