Responsibilities

The successful Member Assistant will be an independent worker, able to manage problems as they arise. Ongoing responsibilities include:

• Keeping floors, shower rooms, cupboards and beds clean and disinfected, with regular cleaning and repairs, as needed
• Standard housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, laundry rooms, front desk, offices and therapy areas
• Ensuring member linens are regularly laundered, repaired and replaced, as needed
• Maintaining clean, sanitary and odor-free member activity areas and clinical spaces
• Implementing a system to separate and clean soiled and contaminated linens  

Qualifications

A positive, friendly attitude, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills and a passion to help others is essential to this role. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be considered. Experience in a health care environment is preferred, but not required. Driver's license is required.
