Position Summary:

The Circuit Breaker Technician rebuilds and refurbishes low and medium voltage circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

  • Refurbish & rebuild low and medium voltage circuit breakers.
  • Diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs to breakers.
  • Work well without direct supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Experience refurbishing & rebuilding Low & Medium Voltage Power Circuit Breakers.

Qualifications

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen due to this being a safety sensitive position.
  • Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
  • Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in electrical/electrical technology, or Military experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience preferred

 

Education and Experience:

  • 0–1 year Industry Experience or 2 Year Technical Degree 

 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
