About the role

  • Your day-to-day missions
  • You contribute to the design, deployment and operation of data platforms on Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric, ensuring reliability, scalability and security in production environments.
  • You work closely with data engineers, data scientists and application teams to industrialize data ingestion, transformation and consumption on Azure and hybrid platforms.
  • You build and maintain the data pipelines, storage layers and services required for analytics and AI use cases (batch and/or streaming), leveraging Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
  • You help automate and standardize platform services (templates, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring) to accelerate delivery while keeping quality high.
  • You participate in incident analysis, capacity planning and continuous improvement of the data platform, contributing to a strong reliability and performance culture. 
  • Occasional missions and example projects
  • You may contribute to the rollout of new platform capabilities, such as new Microsoft Fabric workspaces, data products or self-service data features for business teams.
  • You can be involved in migration projects from legacy on-premise solutions to Azure and Microsoft Fabric, in collaboration with architecture and security teams.
  • You may participate in internal communities of practice, tech talks or proof-of-concept projects around modern data stack components and best practices on Azure.

About you

  • Experience and educationYou have between 3 and 5 years of professional experience in a relevant technical role (for example: data engineer, platform engineer, DevOps engineer, software engineer) and hold at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering or a related field. 
  • Your hard skills
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, in particular its managed services for data (for example Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks) and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Solid experience with data processing and pipelines (for example SQL, Python, Spark or equivalent), in production contexts.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices (Git, pipelines, infrastructure as code such as Terraform/Ansible, monitoring/logging tools), ideally applied to Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools on Azure and Microsoft Fabric, and a strong motivation to grow further in this area.
  • Understanding of data security, governance, reliability and performance considerations for production data platforms. 
  • Your soft skillsYou are a team player with good communication skills, able to collaborate smoothly with data engineers, data scientists, architects and operations teams. You show rigor, curiosity and a strong willingness to learn, especially in a fast-evolving data and cloud ecosystem. You are comfortable taking ownership of problems, proposing solutions and iterating in an agile way. Your mindset combines pragmatism and a desire for quality, allowing you to deliver reliable data services while continuously improving them.
