About this role

Overview

Please note this position is always open and we seek to hire for each semester

Tutor Chemistry to students on all levels.

Responsibilities

ā€¢ Tutor students individually or in small groups. Review materials covered in class.ā€¢ Review homework assignments. ā€¢ Prepare students for exams.ā€¢ Attend workshops to enhance tutorial skills.ā€¢ Communicate with instructors regarding student deficiencies and progress.ā€¢ Keep daily record of students tutored and materials utilized. Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

ā€¢ Reference statement from Chemistry Department Chair.

Education,Preparation,and Training.ā€¢ Degree not required.ā€¢ At least Excellent grades in Chemistry.

ā€¢ Excellent communication skills.ā€¢ Ability to relate to students.

ā€¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

Maximum Salary

USD $22.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $17.00/Hr.
