About this role

Overview

The Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University is accepting applications for a full-time Corporate Relations Manager (Program Coordinator III). The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with corporate and institutional partners for the purpose of developing quality full-time, internship and experiential learning opportunities for Huntsman students. This position will report to the Director of External Relations.

Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of stakeholder engagement activities, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Building and maintaining robust relationships with a portfolio of Huntsman Community partners, specifically industry employers and alumni.
  • Securing corporate sponsorships for the Huntsman School to support student learning activities.
  • Assisting with planning and execution of student, alumni and donor events.
  • Systematically engaging corporate and community contacts to expand internship and full-time career opportunities for our students, build strategic partnerships, and further the mission of the Huntsman School.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in customer relationship management, sales, or fundraising, or equivalent education plus experience.
  • Ability to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive level contacts, corporate professionals, students, alumni, advisory board members, and internal constituencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate through a variety of means (email, text, phone, video, and face-to-face).
  • Proven ability to develop proposals and secure sponsorships, donations, strategic partnerships, and/or commitments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with personal computer and routine office software use, including CRM, project management, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative or Canva tools.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, career services, employer/alumni/donor relations, or simiar.
  • Knowledge of corporate recruiting, talent acquisition, internship, or experiential learning programs.
  • Ability to strategically plan and execute impactful events or meaningful engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
