The TekSynap is seeking a Project Manager to join our team at Defense Health Agency to provide support to the Program Manager in execution of cybersecurity assessment and authorization activities including RMF documentation, IV&V coordination, testing events, stakeholder engagement, and DHA enterprise cybersecurity support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Experience
- 10 years engineering; 5 years supervising technical teams; PMP optionalÂ
- DoD cybersecurity program support experienceÂ
- RMF process experienceÂ
- A&A package development experienceÂ
- eMASS experience preferredÂ
- Experience supporting DHA preferredÂ
- Experience coordinating IV&V eventsÂ
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
Certifications
- IAM Level III Certification preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP)Â
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field Â
Clearance
- Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Support Program Manager in daily execution of cybersecurity A&A programÂ
- Manage execution of RMF activities across assigned systems and enclavesÂ
- Coordinate development of RMF documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and test artifactsÂ
- Track status of RMF packages and authorization milestonesÂ
- Coordinate IV&V assessment scheduling and executionÂ
- Manage cybersecurity testing activities and validation eventsÂ
- Support preparation of Security Assessment Plans (SAPs)Â
- Coordinate development of Security Assessment Reports (SARs)Â
- Track remediation of vulnerabilities and POA&M itemsÂ
- Manage communication between Government stakeholders and technical teamsÂ
- Coordinate support for DHA validation readiness reviewsÂ
- Manage eMASS package development and submissionÂ
- Track authorization timelines and ATO expiration datesÂ
- Support risk assessment and mitigation planning activitiesÂ
- Coordinate system owner and PMO engagement activitiesÂ
- Manage development of cybersecurity reports and status metricsÂ
- Track labor hours, staffing, and resource allocationÂ
- Coordinate technical SMEs supporting RMF activitiesÂ
- Manage deliverable development and submission timelinesÂ
- Coordinate cybersecurity documentation development effortsÂ
- Support development of SOPs and operational proceduresÂ
- Coordinate test execution meetings and working groupsÂ
- Track action items and program decisionsÂ
- Support planning for on-site assessments and travel eventsÂ
- Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policies and standardsÂ
- Coordinate vulnerability scanning and analysis activitiesÂ
- Support automation toolset usage for cybersecurity testingÂ
- Track validation team assignments and taskingÂ
- Support weekly and monthly program reviewsÂ
