Release is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator  in Cape Town to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Procurement and Logistics Coordinator you will provide a procurement and logistic service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirement.Â

Main responsibilities Â
- Follow the guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the operating systemÂ
- Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating systemÂ
- Highlight logistic risks identified during the structuring phase and timeously communicate to Line ManagerÂ
- Facilitate visits to potential ports and obtain road risk assessment to siteÂ
- Assist with the bid evaluation and recommendation processÂ
- Prepare contracts for relevant service/material suppliersÂ
- Ensure that signed contract is returned, shared on document management system and communicated to Project TeamÂ
- Draft procurement policy and procedure for the respective countriesÂ
- Prepare all purchase orders for procurement of assets including spare partsÂ
- Assist with the contracting of service agreements and supply accountsÂ

Qualifications and competencies Â
- Minimum: Diploma in Supply Chain ManagementÂ
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar roleÂ
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement Operating SystemÂ
- Previous experience in Contract Management Â
- Coordinate the implementation of local content and economic development commitments under procurementÂ
- Assist in the audit of the implementation of procurement policy and procedureÂ
- Organise day-to-day electronic filing in the document management systemÂ
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office: Advanced Excel, MSWord, PowerPointÂ
- Presentation and report writing skillsÂ
- Excellent communication skills, customer and goal orientedÂ
