Come work as a Staff Urologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a dedicated and collegial Urologist to join the University of British Columbia Department of Urologic Sciences at Vancouver General Hospital, one of Canada’s leading academic hospitals. VGH combines adult community urology practice with the activities of a tertiary/quaternary referral centre. VGH is home to world class clinical programs, advanced robotics, surgical innovation, basic science/translational research, and multidisciplinary teams.

 

As a Staff Office-based Urologist at VGH, you can:

  • Provide the full spectrum of adult urologic ambulatory care working within a collaborative group of 14 other urologists.
  • Engage in teaching/mentoring learners from the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine.
  • Participate in quality improvement, multidisciplinary case discussions, and academic activities if interested.

This position is best suited for a candidate who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and the opportunity to practice in a high-volume academic environment.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

  • Eligible for a full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
  • CMPA membership (Canadian Medical Protective Association) – Mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and academic engagement
