Position Details

  • Role: Receptionist
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour based on experience
  • Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts 

Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and professional full-time Receptionist to join our established, five-doctor veterinary team. This is a key front-desk position in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where high standards of service and efficiency are expected.  As the first point of contact for clients and patients, the Receptionist plays a vital role in maintaining the professional reputation and smooth operation of the hospital. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients in a professional, welcoming manner
  • Answer high-volume phone lines and respond to client inquiries
  • Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Process payments, manage check-ins, and check-outs
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records
  • Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to ensure timely patient care
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional front desk and lobby area
