Position Details

  • Role: Client Care Specialist
  • Status: Part-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital is searching for an experienced Client Care Specialist to join our Front Desk team! We are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care while creating meaningful relationships with the pets and people we serve throughout the Niagara Falls community.

What You’ll Do

Assist clients in person, over the phone, and via email with scheduling appointments, answering questions, and coordinating medication and food orders

Check clients in and out efficiently while providing compassionate customer service

Schedule follow-up appointments and process payments accurately

Conduct after-appointment client follow-up communications

Support hospital operations by maintaining a clean, organized reception area

Draft memos, correspondence, and other administrative documents as needed

Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure an outstanding client experience

Collaborate with teammates to support efficient front desk workflow

Share ideas and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

What Our Client Care Specialists Bring

Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a client-facing role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong relationship-building and interpersonal abilities

Professional, compassionate, and positive attitude

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Dependability and reliability

Comfort learning new technology and entering data accurately

Passion for animals and interest in the veterinary field

Previous veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
