About this role

Overview

The Count Room Clerk shift is 2:45am until the end of processing each day, typically between 9:00am and 11:00am.Ā 

Ā 

The Count Room Clerk counts and verifies funds from slot machines, table games and ticket redemption machines.

Responsibilities

ā€¢ Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.ā€¢ Perform slot machine drop; swap out empty bill stackers for full bill stackers from slot machines.ā€¢ Count, verify and record currency and chips from slot machines, table games and ticket redemption machines.ā€¢ Prepare and balance paperwork for all games.ā€¢ Pass currency and chips to the Vault for final verification.ā€¢ Perform daily closing procedures; clean machines and restock count stations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE ā€¢ One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay range: $19.00 - $24.70 per hour

Ā 

*Shift Differential:Ā Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.Ā 

This is not a smoke free workplace.Ā  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
