We are looking for a Senior Data Management Analyst to join our Data Platforms team, to help Kingfisher make confident, data-led decisions by ensuring our data is trusted, well governed and easy to use. By working closely with teams across the business and leading on data management policies and procedures, data governance practices and data management tools (in particular product owning our data catalogue, Collibra), this role plays a key part in building a strong, responsible and data‑driven culture that supports Kingfisher’s purpose and growth.

This role will be based out of our Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington, with an expectation of 12 days a month in the office.

What's the job?

  • Lead the ownership and continuous improvement of data management tools, including data catalogue (Collibra), data quality and data maturity capabilities.

  • Define, maintain and embed data governance artefacts such as policies, processes and guardrails, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Own and evolve the data governance framework to support the quality, security and usability of data.

  • Partner with Data Protection and Legal teams to ensure an aligned and compliant approach to data governance and risk management.

  • Proactively identify, resolve and manage data‑related issues and risks within governance policies and processes.

  • Enable understanding and adoption of data governance by communicating clearly with stakeholders and supporting learning across Kingfisher.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to agree, define and catalogue consistent business definitions and calculations for key metrics, setting clear priorities and expectations.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience working with/owning data management tools, including data catalogues, with hands‑on knowledge of Collibra.

  • Strong, practical understanding of data governance frameworks and standards, such as DAMA‑DMBOK, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR.

  • Solid knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, governance and data protection best practice.

  • Experience analysing and profiling data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and communicating insights clearly to a range of audiences.

  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and influence effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a changing environment.
