Responsibilities
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Nurse to join our Sioux City UPC Team. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple clinics within our network, providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Provide nursing care in various clinical settings, including primary care, specialty clinics, urgent care, and outpatient services.
- Perform patient assessments, screenings, and health evaluations based on clinic protocols and provider orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed.
- Assist with minor procedures, wound care, and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation, electronic health records (EHR), and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Foster a positive patient experience by delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
Qualifications
- Valid and current RN OR LPN licensure in the state of Iowa
- RN or LPN- Iowa Board of Nursing
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
- For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
