Overview
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (one day per week)
Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across our health system. In this position, you will function as a pharmacist in accordance with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise through a variety of assignments and projects led by the Trinity Pharmacy Manager, all while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence and professional growth.

Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains patient profiles within the pharmacy system
- Review’s medication profiles with each prescription fill
- Ensures appropriate and adequate medication inventory of controlled and non-controlled medications
- Verifies the accuracy of order entry and product dispensing
- Ensures proper medication handling and storage
- Prioritizes tasks to increase department efficiency
Qualifications
Education:
- B.S. Degree in Pharmacy required
- Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current License to practice Pharmacy in the state of Iowa required
- Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required
Experience:
- 3 years of pharmacist experience required
- Retail Pharmacy experience preferred
