Responsibilities
- Act as the Rides Manager on Duty, making operational decisions and ensuring smooth operations across all rides.
- Ensure team compliance with safety standards and Six Flags policies.
- Oversee and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of ride shut down.
- Supervise, develop, and evaluate the leadership team and team members, holding them accountable for attendance, performance, cleanliness, and meeting departmental goals.
- Adhere to and enforce operating expense budgets to ensure we are aligned with company guidelines.
- Establishing a culture of feedback, learning, and adaptation to continuously improve efficiency and meet evolving throughput goals.
- Prioritize Guests needs to deliver an outstanding experience.
- Support team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of rides.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure team members and leadership are properly certified and prepared for success.
- Work closely with supervisors, team members, and department heads to advance departmental initiatives.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to maintain adequate staffing levels for daily operations and special events.
- Uphold park standards for safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Comply with all other duties assigned to support the Operations Division and the Park’s operation.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and varied shifts including holidays and weekends.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess the ability to work independently and manage high level tasks and projects.
- Commitment to a total safety, having a strong safety-first mentality.
- Preferred a minimum of 3 years theme park experience, including at least 1 year in leadership.
- Preferred current iROC Trainer or Instructor Certification.
