Legacy software is ripe to be disrupted by AI native solutions in every industry. Financial advisor CRMs are exceptionally ready to be replaced. The two leading players have either been acquired by larger companies or received a majority PE investment. To us that is a signal that they are busy counting their money instead of listening to customers and building better software. We launched Slant in August of 2025 and have seen exceptional growth. Over 100 firms have switched their CRM to Slant, with more migrating everyday.

We are looking for AEs who want to be part of a fast-growing startup. We started our company with founder-led sales to six figures of ARR. We eventually hired two AEs to take sales to the next level. They hit quota, have fun, get inbound leads, and do some outbound. More than anything, they care about our customers and make the buying experience great.

We believe the beginning of a software user journey does not begin at sign-in but begins with the buying experience. We prioritize building beautiful, usable, powerful software, and we do the same for a buying process that is customer-focused, easy for buyers, and sets the stage for using a great product.

Job Description

1. Source and close new business for Slant
2. Become an expert on RIAs and financial advisors
3. Work with onboarding, CS, and support to ensure your customers are successfully set up and supported

Ideal Candidate
1. 1-5 years in software sales
2. Has been part of an SMB sales team (mostly the S in SMB)
3. Has sold to an industry similar to financial advisors or a similar industry - Lawyers, accounts, Insurance, etc
