Retail Accounting Manager

Forecasting and trading energy are the foundation of what we do. We ingest large-scale data—weather, prices, load, and grid conditions—to build probabilistic machine learning forecasts that drive real operational decisions. Our work directly determines when power is bought, stored, or deployed, turning uncertainty into value for customers and the grid. Our impact is measurable. Gridmatic is the most profitable participant in ERCOT’s wholesale market and operates the top-performing battery asset in CAISO. The Retail Manager will manage Gridmatic’s ERP of the Gridmatic Retail entity and take full ownership of all accounting and reporting functions including assisting in preparing the entity’s daily/monthly/quarterly/annual financial records. An ideal candidate will be a fast learner, self-sufficient upon training, detail-oriented and proficient in ERP software, vendor management tool(s) and Microsoft office applications and can multi-task in a high growth and fast paced environment.
