Virtualization Engineer II

Lightedge is seeking a Virtualization Engineer II to support the administration, operational support, and lifecycle management of VMware-based cloud infrastructure platforms with a strong focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). This role will support ongoing VCF initiatives and operational growth as Lightedge continues expanding VCF-based service offerings throughout 2026 and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience with VMware virtualization technologies and demonstrate foundational knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation concepts, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC lifecycle operations. This role will work closely with senior engineering staff, implementation teams, vendors, and customers to support operational excellence across enterprise virtualization environments. This position is well-suited for engineers looking to further develop expertise within modern software-defined data center (SDDC) and VCF environments while operating in a 24x7x365 enterprise managed services environment.
