About the Role: As a DevOps Lead, you will own the DevOps platform, infrastructure strategy, and operational excellence across systems. You will drive architecture decisions, standardize best practices, and lead initiatives across scalability, observability, cost optimization, and automation. This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, system design thinking, and leadership, enabling teams to deliver software efficiently and reliably at scale. What You Will Do: ● Define and evolve the DevOps platform architecture to support scalable and reliable systems ● Design and standardize CI/CD and GitOps workflows for consistent and efficient deployments ● Drive adoption of progressive deployment strategies (canary, rollouts, etc.) to minimize risk ● Own container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS/etc) and ensure production readiness ● Establish and enhance observability practices for improved system visibility and faster debugging ● Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives, ensuring efficient resource utilization ● Build and promote an automation-first approach across infrastructure and deployment workflows ● Define and enforce DevOps governance, security, and operational standards ● Own incident management and reliability improvements, including root cause analysis ● Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to align DevOps with business and scaling needs ● Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and design reviews AI & Automation Mindset: ● Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort ● Identify opportunities for intelligent automation and workflow optimization ● Drive adoption of AI-assisted practices in DevOps operations Required Skills: ● 6–10+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles ● Strong experience with Kubernetes-based systems (EKS preferred) ● Good understanding of AWS networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancing) ● Experience with containerized workloads across EKS and EC2-based environments ● Hands-on experience with Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools) ● Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) ● Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD preferred) ● Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or equivalent) ● Experience managing production systems (Kafka, Redis, etc.) ● Proven ability to drive cloud cost optimization initiatives ● Strong system design and problem-solving skills Good to Have: ● Experience with Argo Rollouts or similar progressive delivery tools ● Exposure to service mesh (Istio or similar) ● Experience with multi-cluster or multi-region setups ● Experience building internal DevOps tools or platforms ● Familiarity with AI-driven automation workflows ● Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) What Makes You a Strong Fit: ● Strong ownership mindset across systems and platforms ● Ability to make technical decisions and trade-offs ● Experience in mentoring and guiding engineers ● Focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency ● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why Join Us? ● A collaborative, output-driven environment that fosters innovation. ● Opportunities to work on large-scale, high-impact projects. ● A culture that values technical excellence, automation, and efficiency. ● Respect that is earned from peers and leadership based on contributions and impact.
