About the Role:
At Oowlish, we help growing brands turn Shopify into a true e-commerce growth engine—not just a storefront. As we evolve from execution-focused delivery to long-term strategic partnership, we’re looking for an E-Commerce (Shopify) Practice Lead to own and scale our Shopify practice.
The core of this position is strategy, consulting, and ownership. You will act as the main point of contact for Shopify clients, deeply understanding their business, diagnosing opportunities, and guiding them toward measurable improvements in Conversion Rate, AOV, UX/UI, SEO, Site-Speed, Promotions, and overall e-commerce performance.
You’ll work closely with developers and designers by setting priorities, defining scope, and ensuring high-quality delivery—without being responsible for writing code or implementing features yourself. Your role is to translate business objectives into clear, actionable roadmaps and guide execution through the team, ensuring that work delivered has a measurable business impact.
In addition, this role has a strong commercial and growth component. You will identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, contribute to new proposals and pre-sales conversations, and help position Shopify as a long-term growth partner for clients.
This position is ideal for someone who thinks like a business owner, communicates confidently with stakeholders, and knows how to balance strategy, delivery, and revenue growth within Shopify ecosystems.
