Amazon RIVR is a robotics company pioneering Physical AI through real-world doorstep delivery. Founded in 2024 as an ETH Zurich spin-off, RIVR developed wheeled-legged robots designed to operate in complex, unstructured environments such as stairs, gates, doors, and uneven urban terrain. We believe that achieving general physical intelligence requires solving real customer problems in the real world, where robots can learn from rich operational data at scale. By combining custom robot hardware, onboard autonomy, and cloud-based coordination, Amazon RIVR is building the next generation of safe, reliable autonomous robots for last-mile delivery Job Description   As a Senior Industrial Designer at RIVR, you will play a key role in shaping the physical identity of our last-mile delivery robots. You bridge the gap between bold design concepts and rigorous technical execution, translating vision into manufacturing-ready solutions that balance aesthetics, usability, and engineering reality.   You are a highly dependable individual contributor who takes ownership of the full design lifecycle, from early exploration to production sign-off. Working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams, you help ensure that our robots are not only visually compelling but also functional, scalable, and buildable in real-world conditions.   In this fast-paced startup environment, you will move quickly, iterate confidently, and contribute to building a strong and cohesive design culture as our team grows.
